Srinagar, July 22: Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) marked World Youth Skills Day with a vibrant celebration at its Atal Tinkering Lab.
On the occasion, Head of Educational Research, Survey and Assessment at JKSCERT-KD Dr. Sajad Ahmad Mir was the guest of honour.
During the event, Aban Habib, the founder of Sky Robo Drones Pvt Ltd and a proud alumnus of GVEI also known as “Drone Boy” displayed his skills while shedding light on.

Students from grades 4 to 12 participated in the workshop, gaining hands-on experience in drone technology.
In his address, Dr. Mir emphasized the importance of skill development in today’s education system. He also praised GVEI for giving in efforts in fostering innovation and practical skills among students.
Chairman GVEI Muhammad Yousuf Wani said that the Atal Tinkering Lab at GVEI is a testament to our commitment to provide students with cutting-edge resources and opportunities to explore their potential.
“Such initiatives are crucial in shaping the innovators and leaders of tomorrow,” he said.
Principal GVEI M D Zargar expressed his pride in the students, saying that GVEI students have shown remarkable enthusiasm and creativity in today’s event.
“Their active participation and eagerness to learn new skills are truly commendable,” he said.
During the event, several students spoke on the significance of World Youth Skills Day, reflecting their insights and aspirations for the future.
