The official emphasizes the need for gym trainers and owners to only admit individuals with valid medical certificates. The health official further stated that for enhanced safety, it is recommended that gyms have basic equipment to check blood pressure before allowing entry. The social activist from shopian Advocate owais khan stated that “It is essential for gyms to have certified trainers on staff. These professionals possess the knowledge and expertise to guide individuals safely through their fitness journeys. By having certified trainers, gyms can provide proper guidance, minimize the risk of injuries, and maximize the effectiveness of workouts.”
Owais expressed concerns about the sale of supplements without proper certifications. Individuals are advised to seek products that have been approved by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). This certification ensures that the supplements meet quality and safety standards.
