Handwara, August 19: Another militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight at Gonipora Kralgund area of North Kashmir’s Handwara, taking the toll of killing militants to 2.
An official informed Kashmir Despatch that one more militant has been killed in the gunfight, he however said the identification of both militants are yet to be ascertained.
The officer further added that operation is underway in the area.
Earlier a joint team of Army’s 32 RR, SOG, and CRPF sealed the area following specific inputs about the presence of militants movement.
This is the second gunfight in a day, earlier a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant was killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Molu Chitragam area of Shopian district on Wednesday
