SRINAGAR, Mar 06 : The Meteorological Department on Saturday said that there is possibility of heavy snow over isolated places especially in higher reaches of Kashmir region.
An official at weather department Srinagar told Kashmir Despatch over the phone that there is the possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning over plains and light to moderate snow over higher reaches during late night of 6th March and 7th March and thereafter decrease in intensity and distribution.
Pertinently, The minimum temperatures decreased in Kashmir Valley.
