Bandipora, Oct 15 :- Carrying forward Prime Minister Nerender Modi’s mission, to provide home to homeless peoples the Lieutenant Governor of UT Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha on Sunday handed land papers to five homeless families in the Bandipora district under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana( PMAY).
Sinha also took a review of several govt schemes and projects-inaugurated multistoried car parking, Aloosa Lolab road and several other projects on the occasion.
He also interacted with several delegations of PRI members and local peoples from various areas of Bandipora district to hear their grievances and assure them early redressal from the government.
“We are very thankful to the Bandipora Administration and LG Sinha for handing us papers of land for our homes and promising to construct homes under the PMAY scheme. We are very poor. We did not have our homes till now. Now we can live our life peacefully in our homes,” Arshid Ahmd a local resident of Banyari said.
