House gutted in fire mishap in Uri

Srinagar : A residential house was gutted in a fire mishap at Banjran village in border town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a residential house of Mohammad Ismail Chachi son of Mohammad Din Chachi was gutted in fire on Wednesday.

Soon after news of fire spread in the area, local villagers rushed to the spot and out fire under control but were failed to save the house from mishap.

The cause of fire was not known immediately, however reports suggest it was due to short circuit.

Meanwhile police took cognizance of this fire mishap.
