Srinagar, Mar 18 : Himaliyan Quarry & Tippers Association Thursday expressed gratitude to Jammu Kashmir Apni Party for raising the issues confronting them.
While asking Government to resolve geology, mining crisis in J&K, Apni Party president Syed Altaf Bukhari had said that it is highly unfortunate that the natives of J&K who have been associated with minor mineralogy business since decades have been sidelined and the contractors from outside J&K who are yet to produce environmental clearances have been given a free hand to control the market.
In a Coordination Committee meeting held under the banner of President Himaliyan Quarry & Tippers Association, Muhammad Maqbool Parra, gratitude was expressed towards Apni Party president Syed Altaf Bukhari, seniors leaders Ghulam Hasan Mir and Muhammad Ashraf Mir.
“We are highly thankful to these leaders who highlighted our plight and sought intervention of LG to mitigate our sufferings and resolve our problems,” Muhammad Maqbool said.
