Sopore, May 10 : Amid fasting and incresent weather conditions hundreds of people on Friday evening participated in the last rites of slian Sopore millitant.
Slian Ishfaq Ahmed Sofi alais Abdullah Bhai a Top ISJK commander was killed in a gunfight at Amshipora area of Shopian district on Friday morning.
Reports and eyewitnesses said that hundreds of people assembled at Model Town Sopore to participate in the last rites of slain militant.
Eyewitnesses said that the hundreds of people despite fasting attended the funeral procession of the Slain ISJK militant amid pro-Islam, pro-azadi and anti-India sloganeering.
Meanwhile parts of Sopore shuts to mourn the killing of local militant, while authorities earlier this day closed all educational institutions in Sub Division Sopore as a precautionary measures.
With the killing of local militant authorities also suspended internet services in town.
Meanwhile soon after funeral prayers of slain Sopore militant, clashes rocked in the area.
