I appeal to my brothers and sisters of Delhi to maintain peace and brotherhood: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday appealed to people in Delhi to “maintain peace and brotherhood.”

Modi while taking to his twitter handle said that peace and harmony were central to the ethos of India. “Peace and harmony are central to our ethos. I appeal to my sisters and brothers of Delhi to maintain peace and brotherhood at all times. It is important that there is calm and normalcy is restored at the earliest.” Modified tweeted.

In another tweet he said that he had an extensive review on the situation prevailing in various parts of Delhi. “Police and other agencies are working on the ground to ensure peace and normalcy.”
Prime Minister’s appeal comes following the killing of 24 people in New Delhi in clashes between two groups .
