Srinagar, Nov 25 : Singapore High Commissioner to India Simon Wong Saturday expressed his joy for shopping at stalls of Jammu and Kashmir pavilion at IITF trade fair 2023.
As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), soon after visiting the stalls, which displayed produce of Jammu and Kashmir and its handicrafts, Wong took to X to express his pleasure.
“Very happy to do more shopping at Jammu and Kashmir Pavilion at IITF New Delhi 2023 Fair,” He posted on X.
The post by Wong received immense response on X as many liked and reposted it to promote the handicrafts of Jammu and Kashmir.
The 42nd edition of the trade fair at Bharat Mandapam, which opened on Sunday and will end on November 27, is a melting pot of cultures. Over 3,500 exhibitors representing several States and 13 nations have set up shop across the 14 halls of the complex. The fair is being attended by around 40,000 visitors each day.
Dry fruits, jewellery, home décor pieces, food products, are just some of the items on offer. Several artisans and farmers from the valley too have participated in the fair to display their products.
An artisan said the stalls of Kashmir are witnessing an enormous response with people from different states and countries buying products of Jammu and Kashmir—(KNO)
