Bandipora June, 03: In a first, Block Medical Officer of Bandipora Block started Aadhaar-based bio-metric attendance system to ensure punctuality of the employees.
Block Medical Officer, Bandipora Dr Masarat Iqbal Wani said that Aadhaar-based system is introduced to ensure that the staff arrive at duty on time.
“Already, the biometric system is in use. However, it is being implemented in a poor manner. Many staffers were purposefully avoiding the system and using the manual register for attendence. Now all this will end with the new system,” he said.
“Beside this, under the new system, we can follow the attendance of all the staffers from any place any where. It will help us streamline the system,” he said.
