In a neck to neck contest in Bandipora INC candidate Nazam-ud-din Bhat defeats Usman Majid

Bandipora, Oct 08: In Bandipora assembly constituency Indian national congress candidate Nizam-ud-din Bhat broke Majid’s winning streak by winning with a margin of 773 votes.

Bhat secured 20234 votes out of 73772 votes followed by Usman who secured 19461 votes.

On Bandipora constituency seat the contest from the early days was heated and close contest was expected in exit polls also in between Usman Majid and Nizam-ud-din Bhat.

Bhat got benefit of delimitation, he received lead in his last round from Naidkhai areas added recently with Bandipora consitituency.
