In annual ATD, health issues, mature stay main reasons for transfers of teachers, other staff

Srinagar, Aug 19 : In an Annual Transfer Driver (ATD), most of the teaching staff of the School Education Department in Kashmir division has said that they were either facing health issues or were having a mature stay at one respective institution.

The news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) has learnt that in the ATD-2021, most of the masters have mentioned health and mature stay as the grounds of transfer.

Among the masters who have applied for the transfers this year, nearly 891 have said that they were having a mature stay at their respective place of posting while nearly 150 have mentioned health issues as the grounds of the transfer.

Besides, other masters have said that they were working in a hard zone; some said they have security issues and some have mentioned marriage grounds as the reason for the transfer.

In the meantime, the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) in a tentative notification list of the masters for transfers and posting under ATD-2021 said, “The Masters who had been considered on various grounds shall deposit their relevant documents or the threat perception certificate, medical certificate from Standing Medical Boards etcetera in support of their claim.”

“Besides, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) shall verify the particulars of the stay of each incumbent with reference to their original records and discrepancy,” the notification reads.

DSEK said that if there was any sort discrepancy in the records, it shall be brought into the notice of the department within the stipulated time period—(KNO)
