SOPORE: In a major relief to commuters, the administration in Sopore has decided to widen the Sangrama road for the larger interest of general public.
Every day huge traffic jam is witnessed on Sangrama road which over the years have been hectic for locals as well as the people coming from other places as well.
“Every day we have to struggle, the distance which should be covered in few minutes takes several hours”, said Majid, a locale. “It is like a daily life struggle, one might think of leaving early for his job or to reach their shops, but once you pass these Sangrama roads, one gets stuck for hours, which is nothing but horrible”, said another resident .
Meanwhile, a senior official told Kashmir Despatch that Sangrama road will be widened as commuters have been facing hard time every day. He added the work on and we are hopeful that work will start soon.
