The armies of India and Pakistan on Tuesday fired at each other’s positions along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
An official said that Pakistan army initiated unprovoked firing and shelling along the LoC in Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar.
He said the Indian army was retaliating effectively and strongly.
