New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) India is set to highlight challenges, concerns and priorities of the developing countries at the second edition of the ‘Voice of Global South Summit’ it is hosting on Friday in the virtual format, over two months after the African Union was inducted as a permanent member of the G20 under New Delhi’s presidency of the bloc.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to preside over the summit that is expected to be attended by a host of leaders from the developing countries, people familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.
India hosted the first edition of the ‘Voice of Global South Summit’ under the theme ‘unity of voice, unity of purpose’ on January 12 and 13.
