Indo-Pak armies Friday exchanged heavy gunfire across the Line of Control at Shahpur area in Poonch sector of Jammu region.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked shelling in Shahpur area in the Poonch sector on Friday and Pak shelling was retaliated effectively by Indian troops. He said no loss of life or injury to any person was reported in the incident.
Meanwhile, people of the area have started moving to safer places.
