Indo-Pak Armies Exchange Gunfire On LoC In Kupwara

Srinagar, April 23: India and Pakistan armies on Thursday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said India and Pakistan armies yet again exchanged heavy gunfire along the Line of Control in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara in north Kashmir on Thursday.

An official told this newspaper that this afternoon Pakistan rangers restored to unprovoked ceasefire violation and targeted the forward pots of the Indian Army in Tangdhar adding that they targeted Army post along with Rawan, Darshan, and YO posts in Kupwara.

The official further said that gunfire was heavily reiterated and no report of injury or causality was reported during the incident.
