Indo-Pak armies trade gunfire along LOC in Kupwara

Srinagar, July 13 : Indo-Pak armies on Monday evening exchanged gunfire along the line of control (LOC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that Pakistan initiated an Unprovoked Ceasefire Violation (CFV) along the LoC in Tangdhar Sector, Kupwara in the evening by firing Mortars and other weapons. Befitting response was given.

A police officer also confirmed to this newspaper and said no loss of life or Injury was reported sofar in the cross border shelling.
