Indo-Pak armies trade gunfire in Baramulla

SRINAGAR, July 23 : Armies of India and Pakistan on Thursday evening exchanged gunfire along the line of control in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Army Spokesperson in a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch said Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation (CFV) along the LoC in Naugam Sector, Baramulla today evening by firing Mortars and other weapons. Befitting response is being given.

Meanwhile a police officer told Kashmir Despatch that no loss of life or Injury was reported in the cross border shelling.

Pertinently, on Wednesday night a lady was injured in border shelling in Tangdar sector of Kupwara.
