Inflitration not something new at LOC : GOC 19 Inf. Div

Baramulla, Oct 25: A top army officer on Saturday said that infiltration is not a new phenomenon along the line of control (LOC) and army is always ready to tackle each and every situation.

As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 19 Infantry Division Virendra Vats on the sidelines of a function organized by army said that the army is ready to tackle each and every situation along the line of control.

He said this year hardly any inflitration took place and at larger extent and the army has succeed in foiling major inflitration bids.

The GOC said that army is well prepared to take on any security challenge to help citizens of the nation. He said the preparedness was excellent enough to take on any security challenge with the result this year hardly any inflitration took place.

The top army officer said that Pakistan is continuing with its mission to disturb the peaceful environment in Jammu and Kashmir but its efforts would fail as army is fully prepared to meet any eventualities.
