Ganderbal, Oct 10 : Describing the exit of senior NC leaders Devinder Singh Rana and Surjit Singh Slathia as a “big setback” to the party, National Conference leader and former MLA from Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Sunday asked the party leadership to introspect why senior leaders are leaving the party.

In a video statement, according to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Ishfaq said the party leadership should look into why senior leaders are deserting the party.

“They should look into the reasons behind It. The party leaders should take serious note of it so that it does not happen it in future,” he said, adding that some leaders holding senior positions in the party are disheartened and they may have issue with some quarter within the party.

He said the party leadership should look into whether there are black sheep in the party who are creating misunderstanding about people in the leadership—(KNO)
