There has been much debate lately over the existence of God, Religion and Prophets. These arguments became more passionate in the late 19th and 20th century which marked the beginning of the modern era.
From the Origin of species by Charles Darwin to the nihilistic ideas recorded in God is Dead by Friedrich Nietzsche, it appears that the atheistic ideas have an influential part to play in the recent ideological polemics.
In the same way our present day atheistic scribes like Charles Dawkins, Sam Harris and infamous Christopher Hitchens have tried hard to make this century as a triumphant era of Atheistic ideology, while even changing the focus from propagation of atheism to Anti-theism. However, such militant approaches have been appositely answered and debunked.
In Islam, such rhetoric from the pagans of Makkah has been exhaustively recorded in the Holy Quran, wherein they have been asked to ponder over the creation of the universe and the man himself. Islam doesn’t promote sightless approach but rather it asks and encourages its followers to research and reflect. As Holy Quran records:
And in the alternation of night and day, and that fact that Allah sends down sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds, are signs for those who are wise” (45:3-5).
However, regarding the metaphysical concepts and doctrinal beliefs that are concerned with the unseen remain intangible and incomprehensible with our limited knowledge. The same thing applies with the concept of origin of God, Religion or even soul for which Quran aptly has a replied as:
And mankind have not been given of knowledge, except a little. (17:85). (PART 1)
