PULWAMA, Dec 30: The Islamic University of Science & Technology in Awantipora South Kashmir on Friday held an interactive session with its foreign students.
The session was held under the chairmanship of Dean Academic Affairs, Islamic University, Manzoor Ahmad Malik, and was moderated by Incharge International Affairs, Dr. Monisa Qadiri.
On the occasion, three foreign students enrolled in the university, namely Moustapha Adamou Hamdou, Joao Afonso Gunza, and Victor Zua Canda, shared their experiences with participants, and discussed with some officials of the university on several issues.
They also hailed the hospitality and culture of Kashmir, while they demanded that English should be the medium of Interaction for foreign students.
One of the students, Victor Zua Canda has said that students of other countries, who desire to pursue a degree from the said university, can come here, as the university is having adequate facilities, while he praised the Kashmiri people for their hospitality.
Meanwhile, the faculty members of the University have appreciated the said students and wished them all the best in future endeavours.
Registrar IUST, Prof. Naseer Iqbal, Dean of outreach, Prof. Lilly Want, Dean School of Engineering & Technology, Dr. Rumaan Bashir, Incharge Dean of students, Prof. Asifa Baba, and others were also present, on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention here that the program was conducted to formally begin the Office for International Affairs at IUST, and to bid farewell to outgoing MCA student, Moustapha Adamou Hamadou.
