Pattan, Jun 09, (BAN) A heartbreaking incident was happened in the Chanserseer area of Pattan on Monday, where a young boy, Hafiz Qayoom, tragically lost his life after accidentally swallowing a balloon while playing.
According to local sources, the child was engaged in play when the unfortunate accident occurred. Despite immediate efforts by family members and neighbors to rush him to the nearest medical facility, all attempts to revive him proved unsuccessful. He was declared dead shortly after arrival.
The incident has left the local community in shock and mourning, with residents expressing deep sorrow over the untimely death of the young boy. “It’s a tragedy beyond words. One moment he was playing like any other child, and the next, he was gone,” said a local resident.
Authorities have urged parents and guardians to be cautious of potential choking hazards, especially items like balloons that can be dangerous for young children.–(BAN)
