Jammu, Nov 19 : A Jaish-e-Muhammad militants group have been killed in an ongoing gunfight on Jammu-Srinagar highway at Nagrota on Thursday morning officials said.
Official sources Informed Kashmir Despatch that JeM militants group were killed at Bantoll plaza in Jammu. Sources said they entered this side through fresh inflitration from Samba sector.
A top police officer told Kashmir Despatch earlier this morning militants lobbed grenade on security forces during checking at Nagrota. Soon after security forces retailated back and in the exchange of gunfire a group of Jaish-e-Muhammad militants were killed. The officer said two Policemen were also injured in the operation and were taken to nearby hospital for treatment and are said to be stable.
