Baramulla, April 02: Jaliel Ahmed Mir (JKAS), a 2012 batch officer, today formally assumed charge as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Gulmarg. Upon taking over, he interacted with staff members and emphasized the importance of efficient service delivery, transparency, and proactive governance in addressing public concerns.
During his interaction, SDM Gulmarg urged the officials to work with dedication and professionalism to ensure smooth administrative functioning and to facilitate better coordination between departments for the benefit of the public. He reiterated his commitment to improving public service mechanisms and resolving grievances in a time-bound manner.
Before his posting as SDM Gulmarg, Jaliel Ahmed Mir held several key administrative positions, including District Panchayat Officer (DPO) Baramulla, Tehsildar Panthachowk, Tehsildar Kakpora, CTO Kupwara, Project Manager DIC Pulwama, and Assistant Registrar at the J&K Special Tribunal. His diverse administrative experience is expected to contribute significantly to the efficient governance and development of the Gulmarg sub-division.
The staff members welcomed the new SDM and assured their full cooperation in implementing government policies and developmental initiatives effectively.
