Jamia Masjid opened after 30 weeks for Friday prayers

People flock to offer prayers on the eve Friday following Shab-i-Mehraaj

Srinagar, March 04 (KD Media): After a gap of 30 weeks, the administration has finally opened the doors of historic Jamia Masjid for people to offer prayers.

This comes after when recently Divisional Commissioner Kashmir PK Pole and Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar visited the mosques assessing the feasibility of reopening the worship place.

While Kashmir Despatch asked the people to comment, they expressed profound happiness over the reopening of Jamia Masjid & kept on flocking towards the said premises in large numbers to offer Friday prayers.
