Srinagar : No vehicular movement would be allowed on the second consecutive day on Jammu-Srinagar national highway traffic officials said.
An official in traffic told Kashmir Despatch over phone that during the day keeping the safety of travellers in mind no vehicular movement would be allowed from both sides. He said that efforts are on to clear the highway for traffic.
He also advised travellers not to undertake journey without finding out the latest status of the road from traffic helplines in Jammu and Srinagar.
The only highway which connects valley with the rest of the world was closed on Friday morning after Kashmir witnessed fresh snowfall.
Pertainally, Past 8th days air traffic at Srinagar Airport was suspended due to poor visibility caused by heavy fog.
