JEE, NEET qualifiers felicitated at grand educational function at GHSS Handwara

Srinagar, Jun 27 : Government Girls’ Model Higher Secondary School Handwara organised a grand felicitation function in the honour of Zoya Zahoor, the first female candidate who qualified JEE (Advance) and succeeded in getting admission in IIT Kanpur.

In the function all other candidates of the school, who have qualified JEE and NEET examinations were also invited and felicitated.

Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Deputy Chief Education Officer Kupwara (Handwara), Educationists, Officers of various departments, Principals of various schools, students and reputed civil society members, EJAC District President and parents of the invited (qualified) students and many other personalities participated in the function.

Mohammad Ashraf Lolabi, Ghulam Rasool Banday (Chairman Auqaf), Manzoor Ahmad Kirmani, Mohammad Saadiq Banday, Mir Fayaz District president EJAC Kupwara, Haji Ghulam Mohiuddin, shared their ideas with the budding blooms of the institution.

The welcome address was given by Manzoor Ahmad War. The CEO and Dy.CEO Kupwara congratulated the staff for grand success of their taught in the professional examinations.

Shah Iqbal, Physics lecturer of the school advised the students to work hard as hard work has no alternative.

Mohammad Iqbal Lolabi, District Treasury Officer also congratulated the students at the occasion.

The vote of thanks was given by Manzoor Ahmad War, the Principal of the school who thanked all the stakeholders of the programme especially Masood-ur-Rehman Malik for organising this marvelous function in the short span of time.

The guests later distributed mementoes and gift cheques from Tabinda Memorial Society to these shining stars of function Zoya Zahoor (IIT Kanpur Selectee), Tabassum Manzoor (NIT Srinagar Selectee), Pir Irtiqa (NIT Srinagar Selectee), Farhat Manzoor (NIT Srinagar Selectee), Dr. Rehana (NEET 2018), Shahnaza (NEET 2019), Ulfat (NEET 2019), Aasifa Reyaz (NEET 2019), Tamana Khalid (12th class Topper 481/500 D.U Selectee in Bio Chem.), Mehbooba Rasool (BOSE Topper 2017), Dr. Uzma(NEET 2018), Dr. Saima (NEET 2018) and Dr. Masarrat (NEET 2018).
