Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police busted a JeM militant outfit module and have arrested three associates from Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police official told Kashmir Despatch that the Army’s 50RR, 29Bn CRPF and Budgam police jointly arrested three militant associates during a naka checking which was laid following a specific input from police sources.
The arrested militants have are identified as Javiad Ah Bhat, son of Mohd Ismail, resident of Pulwama; Ajaz wani, son of Rehman wani of Chitroo Dangerpora and Aqib Ganaie son of Zahoor Ganaie a resident of Khansahib area of the Budgam district.
The police have also recovered 40 rounds of AK 47, two Detonators and three JeM matrix sheets were recovered from their possession. “This group was involved in providing logistic support and shelter to active militants of proscribed outfit JeM,” the police officer said.
Meanwhile, a case under FIR no. 120/2020 under relevant sections of UAPA has been registered in police station Chadoora and further investigation is going on.
