J&K BJP celebrates landslide victory in UP & other 3 states

Jammu, Mar 10 : Bharatiya Janta Party’s (BJP’s) Jammu and Kashmir unit celebrated party’s landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh and three other states including Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand, in Jammu on Thursday.

The grand event was held at BJP’s Headquarters here, where workers and office bearers distributed sweets and danced on tunes of drums.

As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), speaking on the occasion, Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina said that BJP’s victory has vindicated the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.

“The pro people policies of BJP have been accepted. The victory is also befitting reply to Samajwadi Party and Congress, as both parties are struggling for their survival in UP and Punjab,” a visibly upbeat, Raina said.

Replying to query about elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Raina said, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already said that the elections in J&K will be held after the Delimitation Commission completes its assigned task. Once all assembly segments in J & K are properly demarcated, the elections would be held,” he said.

Raina further said that in next 6-8 months, Jammu Kashmir would go to polls and BJP will repeat UP like landslide victory.

Raina said that people of Jammu and Kashmir are standing with Narendra Modi government and are taking care of every section of society.

Earlier, accompanied by party workers and supporters, Raina danced to the tune of drums to celebrate the victory of the BJP.
