Police lodge FIR after one of the co-owner accuses suspicious action by partner of setting building on fire

Sopore, Jan 24 : The Jammu and Kashmir Police in Sopore have lodged an FIR in a fire incident of J&K Cable Network building, which took place on Friday in Sopore area of North Kashmirs Baramulla district.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that, J&K Cable Network was owned by three people, while one among them died few years back. While the cable network was now run by two people.
On Friday, JK Cable Network building caught Fire, whereas fire tenders reached the spot. However, two days later one of the owner has compliant that his co-owner has allegedly burned the building as he was trying hard to transfer the property to his name, following which an FIR has been lodged in this regard.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch, a senior police official said, “We received a complaint from one of the co-owners of JK Cable Network Buildings that his co-owner has allegedly set the building on fire”.
“As of now we lodged an FIR in this regard, while further investigation is on. Also, last year we saw a case where a shop owner had set his shop on blaze to get money from insurance company. So nothing can be ruled out”, he added.
