JK reports 28 fresh positive cases

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 23: The Government today informed that 28 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 08 from Jammu division and 20 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 479046.

Moreover, 17 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 04 fromJammu division and 13from Kashmir division.

Also, 3891 doses of COVID Vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across Jammu and Kashmir to 2,45,55,724.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 479046 positive cases, 173are Active Positive (48in Jammu Division and 125in Kashmir Division), 474088have recovered and 4785have died; 2352 in Jammu division and 2433in Kashmir division.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 08 cases, Baramulla reported 00 cases, Budgam 03 cases, Pulwama reported 04 cases, Kupwara reported 05 cases, Anantnag reported 00 case, Bandipora reported 00 case, Ganderbal reported 00 cases, Kulgam reported 00 cases and Shopian also reported no fresh cases for today.

In Jammu division, Jammu reported 03 cases, Samba reported 04casesand Ramban reported 01 case while as no other district reported any fresh cases today.

The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.

It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
