Srinagar, Aug 20 : Jammu and Kashmir Saturday reported 344 fresh cases of Covid-19, pushing the number of active cases to 2,910 while no more death was reported in the UT in last 24 hours and death toll stands at 4,779.
Among 344 new cases, 295 belong to Kashmir division while as 49 to Jammu division.
The total number of positive cases in Kashmir have reached to 302,427 including 297,562 recoveries and 2,432 deaths, while total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 173,341 including 170,517 recoveries and 2,347 deaths.
He further said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 2,910 including 2,433 from Kashmir division and 477 from Jammu division.
