JKAP convenes meeting in Pulwama

SRINAGAR, July 3: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leader Showkat Gayoor Andrabi has urged the district administration Pulwama to address peoples’ sufferings caused by the lack of basic amenities.

Addressing a meeting of party workers at Pulwama which witnessed proper implementation of social and health protocol in view of the COVID pandemic, Andrabi expressed deep concern on the dilapidated condition of roads, scarcity of essential commodities including ration, lack of safe drinking water and erratic supply of electricity in town and rural areas of the district.   

He pledged that JKAP will work for an equitable development of all regions and sub regions of Jammu and Kashmir and Pulwama district will be a priority. “The members of the party should strive for removal of backwardness and other social evils like drug addiction in Pulwama District. We need to work together to bring a change in the developmental scenario so that people feel a difference,” he added.

The JKA leader stressed on the renovation and redevelopment of many government buildings in the district which have developed cracks with the passage of time. “We also need to explore possibilities for opening new diagnostic institutions under public private partnership which will increment the health infrastructure in this district.”

The party workers including Abdul Majid Malik, Mudasir Ahmad Dar, Ghulam Mohammad Dar, Dr. Bilal, Rashid-ud-Din and  Ali Mohammad participated in the meeting.
