JAMMU/SRINAGAR, Jan 9: Officers of the 2019 batch of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) on Thursday held condolence meetings in the twin capital cities of Jammu and Srinagar to express their deep grief and solidarity over the demise of the mother of their batchmate, Mr Iqbal Zargar, presently serving as Tehsildar Eidgah in Srinagar district.
The condolence gatherings witnessed the presence of a large number of JKAS officers who assembled to pay homage to the departed soul and to extend moral support to Mr Zargar and his bereaved family during this hour of sorrow. The officers observed the meetings in a solemn atmosphere, reflecting the close-knit spirit of the JKAS fraternity.
