40 percent relaxation in question papers : Advisor K K Sharma

Srinagar, Oct 23: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Friday announced date sheets for class 10 and 12 examination , starting from November 10.
As per Kashmir Despatch, the class 10 examination will begin from November 9 and culminate on November 27. Similarly, the class 12 examination will begin from November 10 and end on December 12.
As per the notification issued by the BOSE, all the concerned heads of the institutions have been advised to ensure proper heating and sitting arrangements for the candidates appearing in the aforesaid examinations.
They have been also advised to ensure proper sanitization of the exam centres before the commencement of these examinations.
Students appearing in the examinations have been advised to adhere to Covid-19 SOP’s such as wearing face masks, ensuring proper social distancing and use of hand sanitizers.
Meanwhile, K K Sharma, advisor to the J&K Lieutenant Governor who holds the School Education portfolio in a tweet said, “BOSE increases relaxation by 40%, Students to attempt 60% marks which will be raised to 100%. Done in the interest of Students, ”.
Earlier this year, the then Principal Secretary School Education, Asgar Hassan Samoon announced a 30 percent relaxation in the syllabus for the twin exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
