Jammu, March 07: The National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah lauded the presented budget, describing it as “very good” and comprehensive in its coverage of all sectors.
Speaking to the media, as per Kashmir Despatch Dr. Abdullah highlighted that the 2025 budget has effectively addressed the needs of both Jammu and Kashmir.
“It covers the education sector, the health sector, and the tourism sector. No sector has been left out,” he stated.
He further emphasized that the budget pays special attention to those living below the poverty line and includes significant provisions for the power sector. Additionally, it encompasses measures for ration distribution and other essential services, ensuring that every sector receives adequate attention.
Dr. Abdullah expressed optimism that this budget will bring relief to the people and pave the way for the progress and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
Notably, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah presented a Rs 1.12 lakh crore budget for Jammu and Kashmir for the fiscal year 2025-26.
