Srinagar, July26 : Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum has urged government of J&K to release the pending salaries of daily wagers, casual need based, Contingent paid workers ,NYC ,anganwady Staff, Asha workers, HDF contractual and consolidated before Eid ul Azha. Wani said that these employees are without salaries for the last many months, they are on the verge of starvation.
In a statement issued, Forum Chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani said that govt is repeatedly violating the law of equal work equal wages and minimum wages act on temporary employees .has wani has again emphasised the issue of fulfilling the long Pending demand of regularization of of all categories of temporary employee without further delay.
Wani demanded immediate release of assistance of widows, handicapped, orphans and old aged persons on the eve of EID , keeping in view the weak financial position of these people.
