‘These rabid elements should be informed that India is not all about them’
Srinagar, July 27 : Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary has said the way in which the BJP led dispensation is bulldozing the democratic principles is worrisome to the core and that there must be a counter narrative to this hate developing anywhere which could halt it and tell these rabid elements that India is not all about them.
In a statement issued, Kadfeen said that it was worrisome to find that the poison is being spread even to those areas where communities have been living very peacefully in harmony for centuries and it is quite unfortunate that Muslim community is being pushed towards the wall with targeted violence in the form of lynchings, threats and intimidations taking toll. “In BJP’s mad rush for saffronizing the country, the fanatic groups are actually trying to break it up and this must be resisted by all rational and sane elements of the country. A mindset being exhibited by BJP leaders particularly is very dangerous and can be very harmful to the integrity of the country,” Kadfeen said, adding that a counter narrative is needed to this hate and these rabid elements should be informed that India is not all about them.
