Handwara,Nov 26 : In this age of content creators, where several people present their talent and creativity through social media, there are only a few who become the reason for a smile and also play a role in sharing awareness about many things that need highlighting.
In this race, many content creators have already achieved a significant milestone through their work, while many others are following to achieve.
For years, the case has been the same in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, where every day the number of such video content creators is increasing. However, there are only a few who have made their position strong by not only gaining good viewership but also being recognized for their special, creative work.
Arshid Sagar is one of the best video content creators whose videos are not only appreciated but also loved by people for the messages he conveys through social media platforms.
Arshid is a resident of the Phirupeth area of Langate in north Kashmir’s Handwara district and is also a government employee in Animal Husbandry.
Arshid in conversation with The Kashmir Despatch revealed his journey of becoming a social media voice and said it happened by chance when he tried a small act that went viral and even reached his senior officers.
Arshid revealed that the praise from his senior-level officer was the beginning of his journey on social media.
Arshid said that his motive is to bring happiness to the smiles of the Kashmiri people through his imaginative ‘Kak’ character.
Arshid Farooq focuses on creating content that highlights social issues, which is why people across Kashmir love and follow him.
Arshid narrated a heartwarming story of an HOD who called him and informed him about her depressed wife. However, after she watched Arshid’s videos, especially the ‘Kak’ character, it became a reason for her to smile. This not only made Arshid happy but also gave him confidence to create more videos for the happiness of people.
In a message to the people, Arshid said, “Be happy in life, don’t be a victim of depression, and don’t end your life in depression. Be hopeful and fight. Today, there are medicines for every disease, but if depression sets in, it’s dangerous. So, fight it and try to be happy and make your family, friends, and relatives happy.”
The growth of smartphones and internet penetration has opened up a lot of opportunities for people to unleash their creative minds across the world. The internet and social media have also drastically changed the way people interact and communicate all over the world.
