Kashmir based Shaheen Sports Syndicate Hosts Social Service Camp on eve of Anti-Leprosy Day at Kusht Ashram Bagwati Nagar, Jammu

Jammu January 30 : Shaheen Sports Syndicate Social Trust (SSST) organized a social service camp at Kusht Ashram Bagwati Nagar in Jammu.

The event coincided with Anti-Leprosy Day, observed worldwide. SSST, a social and sports organization, is dedicated to reaching out to the underprivileged, poor, needy, and neglected segments of society, providing them with essential support and guidance solely through the efforts of SSST office bearers. The organization mobilizes funds internally, without relying on external sources.

For the past 15 years, SSST has actively conducted similar programs in both regions of the Union Territory. This year, SSST extended material support to the inmates of Kusht Ashram, providing large woolen blankets, woolen pherans for female inmates, woolen dresses, and light refreshments for the children of the inmates.

Today’s function saw the participation of esteemed citizens of Jammu, who commended the efforts of the Syndicate and pledged to contribute to the welfare of the poor and needy individuals at their personal capacities, aiming to foster a prosperous and joyful society. Showkat Ahmad Khanyari, Chairman, graced the event as the Chief Guest, while Ramesh Chandra Dogra, Secretary SSS, was the Guest of Honor.
The success of the program owes much to the dedication of Dr Gul Junaid, Dr Bazilla Khanyari, Khurshid Ahmad Indrabi, Shakir Mushtaq Parray, and other members of the Syndicate.

Speaking on the occasion Chairman SSS, Showkat Ahmad Khanyari said, it Is our obligation to address leprosy crises across Jammu and Kashmir and we are spirited to work for eradication of the same.
SSS remains committed to its mission of serving the community and looks forward to continuing its efforts towards building a more inclusive society.
