Kupwara, J&K – 27 Nov 2024 – In a groundbreaking initiative to promote eco-tourism and empower local communities, Kashmir Off Road, in collaboration with the J&K Forest Department, is hosting a workshop on sustainable tourism development in the picturesque Mawar Valley. The workshop aims to equip local residents with the knowledge and skills to build sustainable tourism models while preserving the region’s pristine natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Participants will cover crucial aspects of sustainable tourism during the event.
The Need for Sustainable Tourism
As tourism in Kashmir continues to grow, it is essential to ensure that this influx benefits local communities while safeguarding the region’s unique ecological and cultural assets.
