Kashmir to Kanyakumari by rail to be completed by 2022: L.G Manoj Sinha

Srinagar, August 15: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on Saturday said that the world’s highest rail bridge in Chenab valley will be completed in 2021.

As per Kashmir Despatch, Sinha in his speech on the 74th Independence day said that the new tunnel at Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar highway and the world’s highest rail bridge will be completed in 2021.

He said by 2022 Kashmir will be connected all the way to Kanyakumari by rail.

L.G further said that work has been started on Shahpur Kandi and Ujh irrigation projects.(Kashmir Despatch)
