SRINAGAR, Feb 18: At least 17 students from different schools of Kashmir valley including a student from Islamia English Medium High School Loragam Tral shined in the preliminary round of Fit India Quiz organised by Govt. of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, for which the exam was conducted by National Testing Agency.
The preliminary round of the Quiz was conducted on 8-9 December, 2022 in the
Online (Internet Based) mode, while exam was held across 8 sessions spread over two days.
The test was held in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odiya, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati,
Assamese, Punjabi and Urdu.
Post the conduct of the Preliminary Round, “answer keys were got verified by experts and results were processed on the basis of the keys so finalized.”
State/Union Territory wise merit List was prepared on the basis of marks secured in the FIT INDIA QUIZ-2022, and selection of school for the State Level Round was done on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates nominated by it.
The number of schools selected in a State /UT was dependent on the number of schools from that State/UT which participated.
