SRINAGAR, Feb 14: A Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) youth leader from Tral asserted that the youth of Kashmir are poised to avenge the terrorists responsible.

Reflecting on the tragic incident that claimed the lives of security forces personnel in 2019, the youth leader Tahir Zargar in an interview with The Kashmir Despatch emphasized that the people of Kashmir, fueled by the care shown by the BJP government, are ready to take matters into their own hands.

He said the BJP government has extended love and care to Kashmir, and now it’s the youth’s turn to avenge the terrorists.

He said that the Indian army won’t have to retaliate; the people of Kashmir will rise against those who spread hatred and terror.

The youth leader said that those disrupting peace in the region won’t go unpunished, he asserted, “Those spreading mischief in Kashmir will face the consequences at the hands of the common youth.”

While paying homage to the fallen soldiers, the youth leader lauded the BJP government for transforming Kashmir into a haven of peace.

He highlighted the current scenario, stating, “No stone pelting, no innocent killings, and no murders are occurring in any corner of Kashmir. Peace prevails.”

He attributed this positive change to the awareness among the youth regarding terrorism and its sinister plans to disrupt peace in the region.

Answering the question regarding the upcoming elections, Tahir stated that the people have now come to realize that they were misled and misguided by local political parties who were only concerned with securing votes for their personal agendas. He emphasized that the people of Kashmir have witnessed genuine development for the first time after the Abrogation of Article 370.

Tahir highlighted the example of Tral, a region that was once a hotbed of militancy but now enjoys peace thanks to the efforts of its youth and residents. He emphasized that it was the collective change in mindset and the conscious decision of the people to move towards a brighter and more righteous path that resulted in this positive transformation.

Tahir expressed his optimism about the future, stating that the day is near when the youth from every household in Kashmir will actively participate in BJP’s endeavors and work towards their own development. He also emphasized that this would be an opportunity for the people to silence those who have made their lives miserable and who have disregarded the welfare of the common masses.

When asked about how the people perceive the love for the Modi-led government, he responded by acknowledging that the people have always shown love and respect towards those who deliver on their promises. He emphasized that it is only Prime Minister Modi who not only made promises but also fulfilled them, which everyone has witnessed.

He also mentioned that people in Kashmir have never expected anything beyond basic facilities. Unfortunately, in the past political circumstances, they were deprived of even these basic amenities. However, the Modi-led government has successfully changed the situation, not only in terms of development but also by providing much-needed relief to the people.

He further highlighted the various sectors where people are experiencing the benefits of the government’s initiatives, ranging from education and healthcare to other areas.

The speaker also touched upon the topic of women empowerment and acknowledged how women, including our sisters, daughters, and mothers, are leading the nation and proving their skills in every sector. He attributed the credit for this progress to the government of Prime Minister Modi.
