SOPORE, Sep 9: Soon after Kashmir Despatch carried a news regarding insects found in rice served to kids at Integrated Child Development Scheme Centre in north Kashmir’s Sopore, authorities swung into action and sealed the centre.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that soon after department came to know about the incident a team visited the spot and seized the centre.
He said, an inquiry team has also been constituted to submit the report within a period of seven days.
Pertinently, following the complaint about contaminated rice served to kids in ICDS centre, a team led by councillor Irfan Ali found insects in the rice served to the kids at the ICDS centre at Neharpora area.
Earleir talking with Kashmir Despatch Mohsin Mushtaq CDPO Sopore said that the matter has been brought into his notice. He said will look into this issue on priority and will address the grievances.
