Under the banner of operation SANJEEVNI Kishtwar Police* in its continuous drive against the anti social elments detained a bootlegger on a specific information a special Naka was established at Hasti area of Kishtwar.
A special police team was constituted SSP Kishtwar led by Inspector Abid Bukhari, SHO Police Station Kishtwar, under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police Hqrs. Kishtwar Sh. Satish Kumar laid a special naka at Hasti Kishtwar
During checking police interecepted one vehicle Mahindra Pickup bearing registration number JK17-6857 and on search of such vehicle recovered a huge quantity, 1130 bottles of illicit liquor.
The arrested person identified as Mudassar Hussain S/O Sher Mohd R/O Tippri tehsil thatri Distt. Doda and one more person who managed to escape from sopt is involved and search for his arrest is under way
In this regard Police has registered case FIR No. 234/2021 under section 48 (a) Excise Act in Police Station Kishtwar and investigation into the case is going on
