Kishtwar, Nov. 07 : Kishtwar police charged terror associates and active militants on Tuesday.
A top police officer told news agency Kashmir Scroll that the significant development of the Kishtwar Police has taken a crucial step in the pursuit of justice by producing charge sheets in a case filed under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
The case, registered under FIR No. 117/2023, U/Sec. 13/18/39, involves Mohd Yousuf Chouhan, son of Mohd Abdullah, resident of Chhar, Cherji, Tehsil Nagseni, district Kishtwar, and Mohd Amin (also known as Jahangir), son of Mohd Anwar Butt, resident of Bhadat Saroor.
This case has been presented before the Hon’ble NIA Fast Tract Doda with challan No. 163/2023.
Kishtwar Police have diligently investigated the matter and gathered substantial evidence to support the charges brought forth in the case.
The production of the challan marks an important milestone in the legal proceedings against the accused. (KS)
